We are looking for the next AI Design Starchitect. Our mission is to bridge traditional design practices with future innovations, empowering participants to explore solutions that address contemporary living challenges.
In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, we recognize the need for a shift in design and construction approaches. This competition offers a platform for architects, students, and design enthusiasts to collaborate and leverage AI tools, pushing the boundaries of creativity and efficiency.
We are here to cultivate a new generation of designers skilled in navigating modern complexities. Participants will take real site information and create spaces that are functional, sustainable, and community-focused.
The AI Design Frontier Awards is the brainchild of AAL INNOVATION, dedicated to integrating AI into the conventional workflows of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Design Challenge
ADFA 2026 Brief
The 2026 design challenge will continue our tradition of working with real projects on real sites. Participants will receive a comprehensive brief with site data, client requirements, and design constraints.
Using AI tools of their choice, participants will develop concept designs, renderings, and innovative workflows that demonstrate how artificial intelligence can enhance the architectural design process.
The challenge brief will be released when registration opens. Winners will receive feedback from the actual project stakeholders.
